Holiday Activities Inverness Scotland
Our self catering cottage is in a perfect position for touring the Highlands. Whilst being truly country cottages they are nevertheless only 3 miles from Inverness and the A9 the main trunk road north from Perth we are easily found next to the famous Culloden Battlefield, which is well signposted from all directions.

If you are travelling including, Skye, John O' Groats, Orkney and Aberdeen, our ideal position overlooking Inverness gives you the opportunity to eat out in a wide variety of venues from 4 & 5 star restaurants to family friendly pubs and main fast food outlets.

A VUE Cinema is 5 minutes away and the local theatre , Eden Court has a wide range of productions throughout the year.

Other attractions including the Aquadome water theme park in Inverness, several local championship gold courses including the Nairn West course the venue for the 1999 Walker Cup

There is a major retail Park only 3 miles away for all your food, petrol, etc.

Loch Garten run by the RSPB gives the opportunity to see Ospreys in their own environment, and dolphins in the Moray Firth.

There are many historical places to visit locally including, Culloden, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle and of course, Loch Ness where you will find a variety of things to do, a great favourite with our self catering visitors particularly families is to take a tour or cruise on Loch Ness

We can source river and Loch Fishing locally if required, and even Pony Trekking.

The Cairngorms are 45 minutes away, which is ideal for any skiing break and in the same area is the Whisky Trail for all the Speyside distilleries. or why not check out some authentic Highland music with Scottish Showtime

Our location is ideally suited for golfing holidays with a large number of courses within easy travelling distance. The Nairn West Course was the venue for the 1999 Walker Cup and Royal Dornoch is another championship course.

The Inshes Retail Park is located 3 miles from Blackpark farm entrance towards Inverness, this incorporates a Tesco supermarket, which is open on a 24 hours basis excluding Sunday night.The petrol station is open on a 24-hour basis at the same venue.

This station is the local radio station and covers the North of Scotland and into parts of Aberdeenshire.

BBC Radio Scotland. 94.0 FM
This station covers all of Scotland is a good source of information for roads and weather.

BBC 1 and ITV have local weather bulletins following the main News.
